Meet The Dream Team!
Ginny Hunsberger
Ginny is married to her college sweetheart and is mom to five sons. In her quiet moments, she likes scrapbooking personal and family stories and reading books with loveable characters. Her favorites include Sherlock, Anne of Green Gables, and The Infernal Devices. Ginny also likes the color green, fun socks, and dark chocolate. Ginny is my "Proofreader." Invaluably, she can find even the most obscure errors in my work. She provided me a list of those errors with the page numbers assigned so I could quickly go in and make changes. |
Danielle Craver |
In my professional life, I was a science nerd--loving data, rational conclusions, patterns, order, and especially research. That part of my life brought me to my wonderful husband, who just happens to be a chemist. Now, as a Mom to two preschoolers, life has taken a dramatic turn. Days are so busy that there is not much time for analytical thinking, so I have had to find new and imaginative ways to enrich my life, which has opened up my creative side. I now love graphic arts as I can take my love for researching and match it with my imagination to create something new and interesting. This pairing has brought to life the crests for The Prophecy.
Reading is actually a newer passion of mine. Thanks to JK Rowling, I began reading again and now consider myself an avid reader. Reading is an escape for me, and I take that very seriously. When I read, I want to totally immerse myself in the book. I imagine myself there with the characters, getting to know them, their world, their story, their point of view. Trying to figure out plot twists and turns is one of my favorite things about books. Another passion of mine is treats. I love chocolate so much that my “profile” pic on goodreads is a bar of chocolate. The best pairing of all is having a salted caramel cookie with an orange mocha. May sound strange, but it is delicious! Danielle is my "At Home Editor." She fully immersed herself in my world and my characters and discussed them with me as if they were real. She was never afraid to tell when something worked in the story and when it didn't. Having a reader who knows the nuances of your characters and your world can keep your story consistent. |
Kim SharpDuring the day, I am an educational specialist that works with ADD, ADHD, Aspy, and all kinds of LD kids. A couple of nights a week, I dance on a liturgical dance team with some of the most amazing youth I have ever met! In my free time, I am a photographer. I love photographing families and friends in situations that show their personalities. In my eyes, photos that show life are the only ones that matter, except when it comes to me….I HATE having my photo taken, so consider this one a special circumstance. Kim is my "Time Keeper." In all my endeavors, whether writing, acting, or directing, she keeps me on task. Often times, I let myself wander down one bunny trail or the other, but Kim always reigns me back in. She read each chapter as I constructed it and texted or emailed me daily to ask for the next section. Knowing she was out there expecting another chapter kept me fueled and focused. |
