Check out this awesome podcast where Deek and I talk about how we met, our writing time, and how we handle failure!
Deek and I meet on Twitter, of all places! We both joined a critique partner group through Twitter, and since Deek said he needed some grammar help, we were placed on a project together. He liked the work I did on his short story, so he asked me to edit his novel, 122 Rules. We began a conversation in the margins and haven't stopped talking since.
The best way for me to describe Deek's writing is: commercial with literary elements and a lot of humor. His story lines will keep you up late at night turning the pages to find out what happens next, but his words will either leave you breathless because of the exquisite way he's described something or laughing so hard your abs hurt.
I could not be more proud of this man! He's the best person you'll ever meet, and he's also an incredibly talented writer.
He is the author of 5 amazing books (with many more in the works): Birth of an American Gigolo, 122 Rules, 122 Rules Redemption, The Extractor, and The Injector.
